One of my favorite pastry chef’s, Rebecca Rather, had a bakery in Fredericksburg, TX, which had closed before I got a chance to visit. But as we drove along an unpopulated stretch of Texas highway a couple weeks ago we passed this adorable building with the pig sign. We turned around to check it out and happy surprise…it is Rebecca’s new bakery and restaurant, The Pink Pig. We had a scrumptious lunch in an absolutely charming environment. Serendipity! If you are ever there, make sure you stop!
